Season 2 is the second season of Magnum P.I.. The series was renewed for the second season on January 25, 2019 and it was premiered on September 27, 2019. There are 20 episodes.

- On January 25, 2019, the series was renewed for a second season.
- On June 13, 2019, the series has been scheduled on Friday, September 27 at 9:00pm, right after Hawaii Five-0.
- Magnum P.I. will shift to Friday nights for Season 2 instead of Monday nights.
- The series would film in Oahu in July 2019 and wrapping up in March 2020.[1]
- On November 19, 2019, the series will on hiatus after MacGyver returns to Friday night on February 7, 2020 and will return on April 10, after Hawaii Five-0 has ended its tenth season run.
